How important is exercise to your well being? It is vital. Exercise goes hand in hand with eating an optimal diet. Being mindful of what you are eating and exercising regularly is two of the best things you can do for your body.

The key to sticking with an exercise program is finding a type of exercise that is enjoyable as well as promotes clear results. I know that when I work out I want to see the results. I want to lose weight, to have more energy, look good and most importantly feel good.

I became very unfit after I gained 45 pounds while pregnant. I have had a horrible time losing the weight. In my younger years I was an athlete. I loved and thrived to be fit. As I aged I lost that drive, especially after I became overweight. I was complacent and very unhealthy. Realizing that I was not very happy being unhealthy, I have since devoted my life to becoming educated in wellness and sharing that knowledge. My devotion has given me all the purpose I need to strive to maintain my well being while helping people.

There is no magic pill, or quick fix to becoming fit and well. It is work. It takes time. Once the realization is created in your mind that you need to eat healthy and exercise regularly, you are golden. Nutrition is the foundation on which a healthy lifestyle can be built and exercise becomes an important building block in helping you maintain wellness. Consistency is the only way to see results when exercising. Exercising does get easier as you become more fit.

I found that the best way for me to become fit and stay fit was interval and strength training. Interval training enables you to get the most out of your cardio workout in less time, which is a plus for most of us who have full lives.

I have provided a link below that will give you some information on how to get started with interval training. I encourage you to explore and experiment with interval training as part of a healthy exercise regiment.
